UNIX Systems Administrator - Westboro, MA
Key Responsibilities:
- Support a LAN server environment of 40 NT server and 30 Unix (primarily Sun Solaris)
servers.
- Administration
- Monitoring and backup
- Layered applications (Email, DBMS, Web, FTP, etc.)
Qualifications/Requirements
- 3-5 years UNIX operations experience.
- Customer-focused style and approach to work.
- Experience with Sun Solaris and Sun Veritas Volume Manager as well as knowledge of UNIX shell scripting, Internet protocols, TCP/IP, sendmail and routing.
- Knowledge of Windows NT, Network Appliance servers, linux, DNS, NIS, frame-relay
networking, and proficiency with multiple variants of UNIX operating systems as well other
server and client operating systems highly desirable.
