Features
Softscape Author Pro allows users to develop sophisticated reports with advanced authoring capabilities. Users have the ability to create complex reports with greater control over the contents and formatting and make those reports available for other managers and employees to run using the Report Runner option. This solution is the most appropriate one for advanced users.
Softscape Query Designer uses pre-defined groups of report data to build simple queries and allows other users to run these queries. Users will be able to change the structure of the queries (i.e. add fields to the queries) as well as define what data appears in the report and how it is filtered. This solution is most appropriate for administrators and managers that do not require the complex reporting capabilities of Softscape Author Pro.
Softscape Report Runner allows users to run predefined reports. This solution has deep security features that allow users to view reports without altering the report criteria or the structure of the report. This solution is most appropriate for managers who want to give their employees the ability to review data relating to their project or goals.
