Architecture
QueryVision has enhanced the Cognos Java Custom Authentication Provider SDK in two ways.First, our toolkit extends the existing IBM Cognos 8 SDK with developer tools and a test harness to create a development environment that snaps into IBM Cognos ReportNet or the Cognos architecture. For customers wanting single sign-on capabilities, we have also embedded this support within our Custom Authentication Toolkit.
Second, our reference implementation uses a SQL database as the authentication source. It can be used out-of-the-box or to jumpstart your project and then moved to a custom-based provider later.
