MB Context

Morgan Benjamin

Overview

MB Context provides an enhancement to the functionality of IBM Cognos ReportNet and IBM Cognos 8 Business Intelligence.

MB Context allows BI users to insert data into a database via rendered reports. This means users can view the report output on screen in HTML format and add text comments. The reports are then saved to a nominated database along with the name of the user that added data and the logged date and time the comment is entered.

Comments and other data can be entered into reports, against report components and individual table rows. Users can add comments via free text or select from drop-down lists defined by the MB Context administrator.
