Jack Henry offers IBM Cognos 8 BI, IBM Cognos Impromptu, and IBM Cognos PowerPlay to our financial institutions. The catalogs and packages are available for each of the JHA core products, as well as several of our complementary offerings.

Features

• The cubes are for use with IBM Cognos PowerPlay and Express Report Authoring in IBM Cognos 8 version 8.3.
• The pre-built cubes are available for each of the main banking applications.
• The demand deposits, certificate of deposits, loans, customer information, and GL catalogs/packages, containing over 200 files, are available for each core application, as well as our ATM, home banking, voice response, payroll, teller, and fraud systems.
• We also have separate packages available for our CRM systems.
• Our clients receive approximately 50 'get you started' reports.
• Introductory training is provided to our clients with the installation, and advanced training is available upon request.
• We also offer custom reporting services to our customer.

Architecture

Cognos is used as a live query to the core application database.
Banking

• IBM iSeries
• Live Query connects to the AS400 via Client Access and an ODBC Driver

Credit Unions

• The SQL Server Database is uploaded daily
