Cognos Extends Enterprise Value for Microsoft Customers

BURLINGTON, MA, June 8, 2004— Cognos (NASDAQ: COGN; TSX; CSN) today announced that its enterprise business intelligence solution, Cognos Enterprise Business Intelligence (EBI) Series, has achieved Microsoft SQL Server Data Warehouse certification. The certification confirms Cognos' tight integration with the Microsoft framework by ensuring that all of its solutions work seamlessly within the Microsoft data warehousing environment.
